Adelaide Winemakers tells a simple story: One destination many personalities.
Incorporated in August 2010 and housed in McLaren Vale, Adelaide Winemakers provides a strong framework that brings together great brands that have been acquired, developed and nurtured. The diversity of brands beneath our umbrella ensures that wine from different regions speak in their own voice, identifying their specific terrior rather than being anonymous, homogenised brands. We believe that the sum of all these parts enables Adelaide Winemakers to consistently produce an outstanding selection of wines with distinctive personality and character, defined by the regions from where the grapes have been sourced. The Adelaide Winemakers story features people with notable accomplishments, experience and knowledge, built on the successes on several family winery enterprises. Our team share almost 80 years of winemaking experience a formidable union of skills and expertise, a common goal, and common views about what constitutes great wine.
The Adelaide Winemakers logo, identified across all the wine brands, gives an important clue about the company’s origins and ambitions. It has been said that the stylised adaptation of the initials AW looks like vine tendrils that have come alive, reaching out and growing. A fitting metaphor for Adelaide Winemakers perhaps, as we strive to continue to build on our solid rootstock of strong brands and dependable vineyards in famous production areas, while reaching out as a new, unified company ready to engage with the world.
